Linda and I would like to welcome many new subscribers to our Newsletter. We encourage all of you to share with us your comments, questions, or insights. This section of The RavenHeart Center Newsletter frequently focuses on questions, concepts and/or issues that are raised by our readers, and this issue is no exception.

Individuals frequently comment that they want to be more spiritual; or they want to live a life more consistent with whom they are as a soul; or they are at a crossroads in their life and want to make changes. I might respond by asking, “What do you think keeps you from moving in the direction you desire? After sifting through the excuses and defensive measures most of us have put in place, the one thing that keeps most of us in a stuck place is — FEAR!!

Yes, for most of us, it is fear that keeps us from the changes we desire to make. Most commonly we hear—“I fear the reactions of others; or I am afraid to financially make the change; or, I may not actually like the change; or, I cannot deal with the unknown”. I have come to believe over the years, that this type of fear is most unproductive, and in reality keeps us from reaching our true potential.

We cannot manifest the life we wish—if we stay attached to our fears. Spirit is always communicating with us on how we can become more aligned with our soul nature—but we are frequently not listening! Wishing for a change on the one hand—and not taking the responsibility necessary to achieve one’s desired goal means nothing is going to change. Others cannot remove, reduce or take away the fears we have which keep us from evolving both at a soul level as well as in our earthly incarnation. However, with the support of others we can remove the fears from within us—allowing for our true potential to evolve and be nourished. We do not need to be afraid—we only need to have the belief in ourselves, and the “Knowing” that it is TIME!

THE WISDOM OF SAINT GERMAIN for the week of March 5

Beloved one, life is truly like being in a boat on a river without knowing where the river is flowing. Sometimes it seems as though you have control of the boat, yet when the waters are turbulent the control is not always in your hands. Sometimes the boat is docked in a harbor so that you may get out on the shore and look at the river. When you take a break from being on the river, when you rest, then you can better see things from God’s perspective.

On this river of life are many boats, other souls also flowing on the water. Sometimes your boat touches another and you exchange conversation and move on. Sometimes boats stay together for quite a while and even wind up side by side in the same harbor. Ultimately, each boat will move on where it will-through turbulent and placid waters, straight flowing or down waterfalls. The most important thing is to stay in the boat and make the journey to the end.

If you are not in control of the boat, who is? The river of life is God, flowing where it will and carrying your where it will. God will take you through all kinds of experiences, up and down, back and forth, and around and around. God is also the boat, the container or protective element which carries you along in love on the waters of life. God is the oars you use to row the boat, representing the truth and love given to you for your use to move through the waters safely. Ultimately, God is the mystery of life, because you do not know exactly where the river of life is flowing or where it is taking you.

When the river of your life finally flows into the ocean of life, that is death. When death happens, you are no longer riding the river nor are you in the boat, because you have flowed into the ocean of life. You then exist in the very presence of God. This whole journey is for one purpose; to wind up in the ocean of god, where you experience limitless love, limitless life, and you know that you are God.

I do not seek to distract you be being poetic; but rather to say this to you: Lean to flow with life. Know that there are no accidents on the river. Whether you find yourself in a safe harbor, in turbulent waters, or in placid waters, it is all God carrying you along. God knows how to flow, how to carry you, and when to bring you home.

Throughout the balance of your life and in your life’s work, keep this river in mind. Trust one hundred percent that you are loved, that you are carried along, and that you will arrive home safely. How do I know about the river of life? I have traveled it before myself. I know its bends and twists, its torments and its joys, completely. I also know that one can survive it. From this side, I spend many, many hours whispering into the ears of students on earth saying, “You can do it.” And I say it now to you, on this river of life, you can do it. You can do it. You can do it!
